Solar Installation Cost Calculator for Nigeria
Estimate the cost of the main solar equipment in your system using current prices stored in SolarPriceNG. A matching installation cost is added when the selected inverter size has an active installation price.
What do you want to do?
Choose the option that best matches where you are in your solar planning.
These are your calculator results saved on this device. Use them as a guide while selecting actual products below.
1. Add Your Solar Equipment
You can add panels, inverters, batteries and charge controllers. Add more rows if your system uses different products.
2. Installation Cost
Your estimated installation cost is based on the size of the inverter you select. The calculator automatically matches it to the appropriate installation cost range.
How the installation range is matched
Installation labour uses inverter-size brackets: 1.0–1.9 uses the 1kVA bracket, 2.0–2.9 uses the 2kVA bracket, 3.0–3.9 uses the 3kVA bracket, and so on. If a bracket is not available, the next available labour bracket is used.

Important: This is only an estimate
The prices shown are equipment and, where available, installation labour estimates. Actual market prices may differ because of brand, seller, location, stock, exchange rates and market changes.
Only the matching installation cost is included. Transport/delivery, cables, mounting materials, protection devices, changeover equipment, earthing, accessories and other installation costs are NOT included.
Always confirm prices and request a full quotation from a qualified installer before buying.
Solar Installation Cost Calculator FAQs
Common questions about using the calculator to estimate solar equipment and matching installation labour costs in Nigeria.
What does this Solar Installation Cost Calculator include?
The calculator estimates the solar equipment you select from the SolarPriceNG Price Manager and adds the matching installation labour cost when an active labour price exists for the selected inverter size.
Does the current estimate include installation?
A matching installation labour cost is included when an active labour price exists for the selected inverter size. Other site and installation costs—such as transport, cables, mounting materials, protection devices, changeover equipment, earthing and accessories—are not included unless they are separately selected or priced.
Why is the price shown as a range?
Solar equipment prices can vary by brand, model, seller, location, stock and market conditions. The calculator uses the active minimum and maximum prices stored for the selected products. The typical estimate is the midpoint of those selected ranges.
Can I use my saved SolarPriceNG plan here?
Yes. If you have already used one of the SolarPriceNG calculators on the same device, the saved plan can appear at the top of this page. It helps you remember your recommended inverter, panel, battery and charge controller requirements while you choose actual products.
Why can my final installer quotation be higher than this estimate?
A real solar project has costs that depend on the site. An installer may need to add labour, cable length, mounting structure, protection equipment, earthing, transport, difficult roof work, extra accessories and other materials. This calculator should therefore be treated as a planning estimate for the selected equipment plus any matching installation labour shown by the tool.
How often do SolarPriceNG equipment prices change?
Solar equipment prices can change when sellers update their prices, stock changes, exchange rates move or market conditions change. Check the product information and current price range on the Solar Prices in Nigeria page before making a purchase or requesting a quotation.
